...your SEC boys almost let it get away last night eh? Didn't have a dog in that hunt, but was in the War Eagle camp in support of some dear Auburn 'fans', as well as being members of that vast body of graduates.

What is it about coaches that don't understand the 'rhythm' of the game. Slowing down the Auburn offense to almost a standstill was incredulous. As stupid as the NFL teams going into their 'prevent' defense, that loses more games than it wins...or high school basketball teams going into a 'stall' to preserve a lead. During my senior year, we lost several games with that form of coaching.

When Oregon tied the game, it came as no surprise to me after watching Auburn allowing them to "hang around long enough" by not playing to win, but playing to not lose. They are lucky, after allowing the Oregon defense to catch their second wind, they were still too tired to halt the offense, when the offense decided to move down the field.

All in all, here's to the "Alumni"...a hearty congratulations. It was an entertaining contest.

It was an entertaining game, I enjoyed watching it.

I think the major difference between the two teams was size as they both had speed. The War Eagle Defensive line controlled the game for the most part in not allowing the Ducks to do what they do best. There was no running between the Tackles for the Ducks.
