Have you noticed that in News Interviews from Egypt that most of those people speak excellent English.
Much better, in fact, than certain American born ethnic groups.

Ever occur that English speaking reporters may selectively seek out English-speaking people to interview? But yes, you're right.

You speak "good" english, but speak english "well".

There is a difference between good conversational English and "The Queen's English" that is spoken well.
