View Full Version : So… what should happen to Charlie Sheen?

He seems to be going wild on the talk interview things.
He seems to be a dork of epic proportion.
He seems to want more than 2 mil an episode if 2 ½ continues.
I admit, I have seen the program. Old episodes are rerun all over the dial.
I am entertained.
Should I care about his personal life?
Wont all that crack make his teeth fall out?

HAHAHAHA!!!

I think being Charly Sheen is punishment enough, don't you??

It's like a train wreck or the Hindenburg....."the HORROR...." but you just can't look away!!

I think he should buy Linsay Lohan a $2500 necklace, and see if they hit it off. They'd be a perfect couple.

What he does to himself is his business. At least he's not acting out like hanoi jane & affecting others.

The programs that I've watched remind me of Seinfeld. I guess that's what makes comedy :).

Huh?

That's kind of creepy.

Leave him alone.

I also believe he is a trainwreck waiting to happen (or is happening in slow-mo) but that's his business.

He may be "healed" as an addict (that is what he says) but its obvious he's got some cracks in the mental dept.

2-1/2 Men is an entertaining show, but it can continue without Sheen. Sheen can be written out of the series -- he got a job in New York. They can bring in a new character ... an older actor who could be an uncle similar to Sheen's character. Someone like Fraser's dad.

It would be a shock to Sheen to learn he is replaceable, but he is.

From my local paper:

"...he's fueled by 'violent hatred' of his bosses..."
"'I'm tired of pretending I'm not special,' he said. 'I'm tired of pretending I'm not a total (expletive) rock star from Mars.'"

"'I'm on a drug,' Sheen said. 'It's called Charlie Sheen. It's not available because if you try it you will die. Your face will melt off and your children will weep over your exploded body.'"

Drug tests by ABC and Radar Online over the weekend revealed Sheen hadn't taken drugs in at least 72 hours.

What should happen? The media should leave him alone and then we will be done with this worthless piece of egotistical, arrogant crap. Of course, the media can't let a "good" story go.

I believe the guy has a problem. Is he over it? Who knows.
Anyone consider the possibility that he has a brilliant pubicist? Look at all the attention he's gotten the past month. Nary a day goes by we're not seeing his face, hearing his rants, or posting on RTF about Charlie Sheen?

And isn't bad publicity still publicity?

I think that it's sad really.for his fans, the show and especially his family.
He's self-destructing on national TV.
I can't watch it.
If he truely had friends in his business they should grab him and make him stay in rehab. till he gets his sh$t together.
Remember Robert Downey Jr.??
So sad.

I don't know. His publicist just quit yesterday. I see it as the rats leaving a sinking ship.

I am a big fan of 2 1/2 men. But its just a show and it has just about run its course.

So, timing-wise, finish this year or next or whatever but its almost over anyway. No need for a big hub-a-bub.

I'm in your camp as well, Lee. This show has had some of the best lines ever written for a TV sitcom. Most of them were stated by Berta and the boy. But as the kid has gotten older and bigger, he doesn't fit the 1/2 scenario any longer, and his lines are more typical teenager, rather than an astute elementary kid.

Now that Sheen has had a rift with the main writer/producer, he's toast. Sad to watch. It's been very entertaining, and now that we know so much about the 'behind the scenes' gobbldygook, it's not the same.

I really enjoy the show and hate to see it go down the tubes. I can't help but wonder how much longer it would have lasted even without the recent drama.

Just call 1-900-hookers or 1-900-pornstar. Either of those numbers will give you most of the numbers in his "little black book".....or give Heidi Fleiss a call. I am sure she kept a lot of info on him.

I agree. And really, the last season or so, Alan Harper has been more interesting than Charlie Harper.

I thought I read somewhere that next year was supposed to be their last season anyway.

It does put a new spin on the character Charlie Harper. Apparently, he is WAY more like Charlie Sheen (minus the exes and the kids) than you would think. Not much acting there.

I love Berta. Would love to see a spin-off with her.

No thank you...dont think Dana would appreciate me doing that...was more interested on who else was in his book

Quick Charlie Sheen story: back in '90 I was managing a night club/restaurant in Mission Beach, San Diego. he and Nicholas Cage came in with an entourage of bodyguards,we had to get extra help to keep the girls away from the two of them...they were both so drunk that they needed their bodyguards to literally hold them up in the mens room so they could stand at the urinal..BUT they guys did have the presence of mind to pick out the best looking gals in the crowd for the limo ride back to the yacht in Mission Bay..never seen so many groupies literally throw themselves at someone,

I'm with Subroc, I haven't seen C Sheen since that very forgetable movie, "Platoon".

And talk about living in a cave, ready for this......

The #1 selling CD last week, beating all comers, rock, hip hop, country etc was a Folk band!!!

Mumford & Sons "Sigh No More" outsold ever other CD last week! Powered by the single, "The Cave"! There is some cussing on the LP(unless one gets thier copy from Walmart) but, a musical masterpiece.

They can call themselves whatever they want to, but the two songs they play on the radio all the time sound like pop songs to me.

He's a movie star, much like RR. He has managed to hold his ambitions more prurient than political, however.

Go to iTunes and sample each song.

I'd say they fit mostly in the Folk catagory. Whatever "Folk Music" in 2011 would sound like compared to the 60's.

He's an actor first, who happens to have an abuse problem, and he's getting a lot of attention. I think he is pissed as hell the production was was shut down when he deemed himself ready to go back to work, that he wanted to go back because because of the cast and crew being laid off, and he is having a Charlie Sheen temper tantrum. I do think even though he is most at home playing himself, I think he is also at home convincing everyone he's crackers to get attention. I do think he has an abuse problem and needs to talk to Robert Downey Jr on how to kick it for good and make a comeback. Time will tell if being outrageous will get him what he wants. He is still being entertaining, with his "blink an eye and cured my brain". He is no dummy, but time will tell if he comes out "winning".

Charlie Sheen is the gift that keeps on giving. I'm glad he's not quietly going to rehab (yet). Being all weird and defiant about it is pretty entertaining.
