Last week, Sen. Rand Paul along with Senators Lee and DeMint released a plan that would balance the federal budget within five years. It would do so by eliminating entire departments and not increasing taxes by one cent.

If you look at government spending as a percent of GDP in the grph, you will see that Rand Paul's government budget as a percent of GDP is about 18%. That is what the budget has historically run. I point that out for those who like to talk about historical rates of income taxes since income tax began. Figures like that, liberals don't like to see:)

You are correct...AS OF NOW!!~! BUTTTTT...it shows what COULD happen after 2012...AFTER the current socialists in the Senate are removed, and of course ANYBODY else in the white house.
