We were talking about this.
I have a theory.

We all agree that the econmoy is headed in the wrong direction due to debt.
This administration continues to spend indiscrimanantly.

There are only two possible scenarios for this

#1--Obama is deliberately trying to bankrupt us so we can become a third world nation and be taken over.
Despite being considered a "right wing extremist," even I know that is not true.

#2--And this is what I THINK......if we default, there will only be 1 way out. RAISE TAXES.....being as Obama has stated he beleives in "wealth redistribution," this is the only logical answer.

It is indeed a conscious effort to acheive the end game.

WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION!!!
Ask Michael Moorer (seen him lately??)

Hopefully we can see a nice exchange here.

The ends justify the means?

I'm pretty sure Obama does not want to default. He wants the debt ceiling raised so that he can continue to buy votes via entitlement programs.

Just look at the preliminary info coimg out on his proposed deficit plan. No pain for 10-12 years! Basically, he is just passing the tough decisions on to the next administration.

The time to attack the deficit was yesterday. Today is better than 10-12 years from now. Ryan's plan is mere posturing making it seem like the Repubs are serious about it.

We are in very deep financial doo-doo and it is not being addresses by the powerbrokers in DC!

No one in DC has the gear to say NO to raising the debt ceiling.

They can't be honest with the people. They fear that if they cause any short term pain, they won't get reelected.

Nothing but a bunch of cowards!

I'm too old(59)and any charisma/TV appeal I might have had is long gone.
I could better serve as a Presidential Czar;-)

Whatever and however it's done, it will be painful.

I believe Obama is inept, AND his regime is corrupt. He's not even close to doing what he took an oath to do...protect the constitution. He ignores it whenever he can, as is the case in Arizona. He is anti-Israel and pro muslim, and should Israel begin a war because they are being strangled, much of the blame can be laid at the feet of the Obama oligarchy. No POTUS in the history of the USA has done more to provide comfort to the Islam Jihad than Obama.

His "budget" is a total joke, as is his constant spending on big government, increasing those numbers beyond any rational thought.

The Ryan budget is far from perfect. It's doubtful any 'perfect' budget could be the first plan off the drawing board, and expect to be passed by the socialists in the Senate, and the 'community organizer' in the WH.

No, it's just a start to get some of the realists to take a vote, and we voters can judge who's with us or against us....and that includes smoking out the linguini spined RINOS, that despise having their favorite pork project being trimmed.

My only concern is how soon can we expect to see a bill that will spell out the "WASTE" that is constantly being talked about. Just delineating those areas from various departments, regardless of which government programs it effects.

Pointing those areas out, would do a lot to give many of us the confidence we sent the right people to represent us, and they are trying to get something done. I couldn't care less if it doesn't get passed, as long as it's brought up, so we can SEE who's in favor of doing something. Then we can believe we are on the right track, and the next election might just get us the folks in office that will actually do what the people want done.

Just like the constant attempt at shutting down the Obamacare bill. We know it won't get passed, but it's important it continues, so we are building confidence in those that are in the Congress, that when they get additional support, it will pass and the people will have been listened to.

If Obama is running for reelection on a platform of raising taxes just think what he will try to do if he is successful. One can only hope that he is a lame duck now and just doesn't realize it.

There was a guy in the '80's that ran on a platform of raising taxes. You remember President Mondale, don't you?
