Apparently AARP must have taken a dramatic reduction in membership due to their support of Obamacare and other left wing ideas. About a year or so ago I canceled (not non-renew) my membership for that very reason. Yesterday, my wife and I received a three year free reinstatement membership. We didn't ask for it and have cut the cards and returned them.

Thanks but no thanks regards,

Me neither, although I have known this for some time because of their anti-gun stance.

I quit and won't rejoin because of their "anti-senior" positions.

I joined the first year I was eligible and used their insurance on my vehicle, after their stance on the Health Care bill, I switched insurance companies and did not renew my membership, I hope they go broke mailing me offers every month

$28 for 2-year subscription

Also provides the member discounts that AARP has become noted for (though not as many merchants, I'm sure, as the more established AARP).

Have not belonged for years - though Franco is elligible, start date is 55 :-P , - If you watched the officers, most are retired public employees - Rosty knows all about supporting AARP :-P .
