The only news I have is this...

1st place FC/AFC Tealcreek Patton's Saber - handled by his breeder-owner-amateur trainer Chris Hatch.

Last weekend Saber and Chris won the Open and got the 3rd in the Amateur in Fallon, NV.

Congrats to Saber and Chris. But, Helen, you forgot to add that he is also going to the National AM this month as well. :D

Chris is leaving from K-Falls tomorrow for Montana. Saber is entered in the Twin Bridges, MT, trial that starts on Friday.

Saber will also be running in the National Open in November. So far 2011 has been a great year for Saber and Chris... and a great year for Saber's Ruby kids. 7 from the Saber-Ruby litter became qualified all age by age 2-1/2. Last weekend at Fallon their son Shooter got 4th in the Open and Shooter's sister Sally won the Qual. Sally now moves on to run in the Amateur at Twin Bridges. Saber will be running Open and so will Ruby at Twin Bridges. Chris and Don are looking forward to seeing all the training grounds in Montana and to runnning in the Twin Bridges trial.

I bet that is a big entry for the tune-up.

Surprisingly only 70 entries, I think its because there is also a trial in Colorado too...But of the 70 entries at the PRTA in the Open, 30 of the dogs are either FC or AFC, thats a deep field
