Obama is attending two fund raisers tonight and will probably spend the next 18 months doing nothing but this. How about a law that allocates 50% of all campaign contributions go directly to reducing the deficit? Send a buck to Obama or Romney, $.50 goes straight to the treasury earmarked to reducing the deficit.

Bet that would cut the contributions regards,

What say that Congress enact a law requiring that all legislators & the POTUS must spend at least 50% of their time actually doing something constructive? Wonder if they have any idea about a 40-hour week, 50 wks out of the year?

Or a % of all funds raised during campaigning go towards something besides themselves?
Or hey how about both houses actually forget about who is more right and which group is saying "Uncle" first and actually get something done that "WE" the people actually elected them for??? Like how "We" as a country can pay our debt??
Geez!!!!!!!

Sue,
Did you vote today??

In WI, Walker was elected Governer, by a large margin.
Ha has done exactly what he said he would do.
So did many of the State Senators.

They cut state spending, balanced the budgets, no state employee layoffs and the municipalities that used his tools have realized HUGE savings.
BTW--This includes the city of Milwaukee, who defied Walker every step of the way.
Their excuse from Mayor Barret??
The unions were gonna pony up any way.

Yeah.....right!!!!

Their reward??

Recall elections financed by the UNIONS!!!

The whole world is watching...,.,...

Any numbers in yet Stan??

8:00 pm.

Pray for us.
But even if they win they cannot change what Walker has done.

They have to win 3 of these 6 elections and hold serve on the 3 Democrat recalls next week.

I think the Republicans hold.
If the Republicans when 5 of 6 and 1 of 3 the Unions are done.

But I just don't know.
People claim they want cuts until they get them.
Also the out of state money from AFSCME & Obama's people is over $10,000,000.
For 18% of the state.

Walker spent $18,000,000 on his whole statewide election.

I'm praying for you Stan, and all the Americans going to the polls in Wisconsin. This is bigger than the voters in your state realize...like if they vote or not doesn't seem to matter.

Not sure where that type of indifference comes from...reckon it's the way the union leaders brainwash the sheeple. The PC crowd is almost totally in charge now. And to think we used to laugh and roll our eyes at their aphorisms. Guess our lack of diligence allowed this to get outa hand, and now it may be too late.

Word on Twin Cities TV news is the Repub. won over the Dem. in western Wisconsin (We in eastern Minn. victims of all the commercials on both sides of the political fence). Glad it is over, tired of the name-calling crap by both sides. Get back to business of governing, please.

It's not the first thread to get hijacked and it won't be the last. No use to get to worried about it.
