Computer was down for over a week so I was doing a good bit of reading. Two of the books would be enjoyed by many of you on the forum.

"Indian Givers" by Jack Weatherford. Goes into some of the things adopted by our forefathers when forming this country that were borrowed from the native Americans ways of running things. Not all chapters are about that though.

Other book is "1491" by Charles C. Mann. I have not finished this one yet.
It is about the "New World" before 'discovery'. Most interesting.

Well, with all you righties so enthralled with the teachings of Ayn Rand, thought I'd give "Atlas Shrugged" another read, or listen. I got it from Audible.com and am listening on my iPhone. Have not read it since 1980 when I was a freshman engineering student at Michigan Tech.

"We the People" also by Rand is a more compelling book IMO.
