Hello there!

That was not earthquake. It was the Fore Fathers collectively rolling over in their graves.

Evidently the quake occurred on a little known fault line outside of DC called “Bush’s Fault.”

As all of DC leaves work at the same time, the United States experiences a brief economic recovery.

Fox News claims the Washington monument is leaning to the right, MSNBC claims it’s leaning to the left. More news at 11.

The version I was told:

BREAKING NEWS: President Obama has just confirmed that the DC earthquake occurred on a rare and obscure fault-line, apparently known as "Bush's Fault". Obama also announced that the Secret Service and Maxine Waters continue an investigation of the quake's suspicious ties to the TEA Party. Conservatives however have proven that it was caused by the founding fathers rolling over in their graves.
