As a business owner, if I post signs saying "no guns allowed" on my buildings and a gun goes off due to an accident, I am liable if I don't do a pat down or have metal detectors, etc. I wasn't going to post signs any way but I thought that was interesting.

so I have to ask ,who is liable if the gun goes off and no signs were posted, the owner of the gun or the owner of the premises

Right now, the state, but it would have to go through the courts. Not really sure what that means. I don't have a lot of faith in governments right now. I know that the gun owner would have a big law suit from me on their hands for discharging a weapon in my facility not to mention banned for life from the property. Yeah, yeah, I know I am all talk right now...
