So,, in NC those of us that do not live in hurricaine ally still have to pay for the areas that blow so to speak.
Wind Pool assessment.
In other words, all insurance companies regardless of claims or insuring risky houses such as on the outer banks have to pay for hurricaines and their damage even if the do not insure those risky homes.
Yes this has been in effect since PERDOODOO came to power.
So, PERDOODOO and the dumocrats in their insane minds passed laws that make those of us that do not live near the coast pay for those houses built where they are likely to get blown away.
I want to vomit!!!!

If they did not insure houses in those perilous areas, the situation would be that only the very rich and the lower middleincome would live in those areas.

Not so bad an idea ... knowing the risks, the very rich would be able to replace their homes if they chose to take the risk. The poor folk would simply live in homes they could also easily replace, but they would be far different from the homes of the rich.

Those who wanted to have vacation homes there would probably also have easily replaced bungalows.

Would make a whole lot more sense than letting the housing developers get rich.
Probably too late now though.
