View Full Version : Good Training Collar (not e-collar)

I've used the collars below to train my own dogs, dogs with rescue organizations, and clients' dogs, many of whom were rescues as well. Unlike choke chains, they don't bind, pinch or pull fur. They are also made to ride above the trachea which is why they're made in one-half inch increments. I prefer the trigger snap model. The main thing is that you have to measure accurately for them to be the safest and most effective. That said, I use a flat collar until a dog is about six months-old.
