Just started doing my taxes. I like to get an early start. As usual I am not happy with the tax code. It is not and never has been simple. I always wonder what the IRS is thinking when they change things around every year. I guess it would be to simple to just leave it alone or actually make it easier to understand.
This year instead of my military retirement pay being taxed as retirement pay it is now considered and taxed as an IRA. That just changed the way it is taxed and it is not in my favor.
I hate taxes.
