...how many of you are being 'hit-up' with donation requests that go beyond the pale this election cycle, and what are you actually supporting. Lord knows I haven't the means to donate to them all, but I do feel obligated to many of these candidates, and even the ones not in my so-called 'sphere', like the Governor of Wisconsin, his plight is against what I abhor, so I give all I can to his cause.

To me, there is nothing more wrong in this nation than the public unionistas taking over. No less of a Democrat Icon than FDR saw that coming, and nixed it at every turn. So, that cause has my attention, as well as as much as I can help monetarily.

But it seems each day a new 'invite for my money' comes along, and in those form letters, seem quite reasonable and convincing that I should help. But regardless of how pathetic the pictures show the downtrodden, forgotten masses in Somalia, or some other God-forsaken country, that we all KNOW is just a clever ruse to gain our money, so their crime lords can party hardy, and those pictures of the people never change.

So far, here in Sodak, we have only the one Congressional contest coming up, and I'm in for a pound to see to it no smarmy Democrat removes our conservative Republican, Kristi Noem.

Fortunately, Thune isn't running this year, but unfortunately neither is it Johnson's turn to run...(which I find highly unlikely when it is his 'turn' in 2014). So that leaves some extra bucks available for other causes.

One that I'm for sure doing all I can is with the SDGO (Sodak Gun Owners), since we are being bombarded by some George Soros $$$ for the liberal gun control advocates. I am getting so damned sick of this continuous bambardment from those socialists, especially in THIS state. Where the hell did these weasels come from????

I know there are the "FOOLS" in this state that vote for Obama, but they are still among the gun owners in most cases, so that's what makes it so alarming. No fool like an ignorant fool, especially those that believe they can have an Obama regime without having any gun control. That's always been the huge mystery on this BB...how can you claim to be a gun owner/hunter, and be for this oligarchy?

Along the 'gun control' lines, needless to say this NRA endowment member is heavily invested in seeing to it the NRA programs are supported. The entire organization is going full out to defeat Obama, as well as the gun control members of the Senate AND Congress. While this past few years of the Obama regime were somewhat laid back in that area, you can bet your bottom buck, that won't be the case should he get re-elected. We'll have gun control happening out the wazoo!!!! Including from, and especially from the UN. Gadfly Carter, Pelosi, Shumer, Feinstein, Reid et al will be passing every bit of legislation they've had hiding away in their vaults, just awaiting the opportunity to annihilate our 2nd Amendment. The 80 million members of the NRA will be fighting that to the end!

Another cause I'm into is giving to Jim DeMint in South Carolina and his 'Campaign to elect CONSERVATIVE members to the 2012 Senate.

I am NOT, however, giving to the Republican party, regardless of where they say their money is going. Far too many RINOs, elitists, and moderates that are nothing more than fodder that will continue to spend right along with the Democrats and liberals. If it's not conservative, meaning a new direction in Washington, I'm not for it.

While I may still vote for the candidate that opposes Obama, and if I have to, hold my nose doing it, I will. I've had so much practice in that arena with Ford, Nixon, Dole, McClain, ...and even to some degree with GHW Bush, although I thought he might have learned something from Reagan, but I was mistaken. If it hadn't been for Sarah Palin in '08, I would have been a no-show, because I could see the plethora of "FOOLS" lining up to vote for the most inept, unqualified, empty suit to ever run for that office.

Sorry to say, all you "others"...from 'Keep English the Language of the Land", or whatever, to United Way and Unicef, please save your postage. I'm all tapped out, and anything I might find left over, it's going into the defeat of the Obama regime first and foremost. At no time will we ever have a more important cause to donate to, and if we don't succeed in 2012, those other organizations won't get another dime, because no one will have any to give them.

We are doing what we can to support Governor Scott Walker.

You may have heard of him, he;
Balanced the Budget
Reduced state spending
Avoided state employee lay offs
Helped municipalities hold or lower tax rates

As a result, the unions have are spending millions recalling him.

The real reason??

Collective bargaining you say??

Bravo Sierra........mandatory union membership and automatic dues withdrawal....that's why DA UNION wants him recalled!!!

It got so bad that at one time a Teddy K fundraising letter showed up in the mail. I've donated to many a candidate because I did not like their opponent, will be doing less of that. Certainly none to R-Money & his batch of RINO's. I use C4G stickers saying I gave at the office in most races, feeling being, if they can't convince C4G they are fiscally sound why waste money on them :o?

Find it interesting that McCain & Dole lined up on R-Money's bandwagon or as Sarah says "the establishment is trying to convince the masses how they should think". The masses haven't made that decision, & with Newt's reinvention it won't be for some time .

I don't think R-Money or Newt even has a pet, which is a big No-No in my book. I like people who look comfortable doing their photo ops, which Newt is when he is in front of a crowd. Gap jeans & a Brooks Brothers shirt are not what the everyday guys wear :-P. But like you UB, I'm waiting for an endorsement from someone that I respect & so far haven't heard from DeMint.

I hope this tournament goes all the way to the convention, that's loads of free publicity. Much more than I could finance with a paltry, by beltway standards donation.
