According to the report — set for release Thursday by U.S. Budget Watch, a project of the bipartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget — former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum and former House speaker Newt Gingrich would do the most damage to the nation’s finances, offering tax and spending policies likely to require trillions of dollars in fresh borrowing.

The last thing we need is more debt! Our high debt is a major reason why unemployment is so high and the economy so sluggish.

We not only need a Balanced Budget Amendment, we need to retire our debt!

In line with this.
I think Romney had his best outing last night.
I am OK with Romney if he gets the nomination.

I am amazed that in a debate in AZ, not 1 question about illegal immigration.
Curious..........

In line with increasing the debt?

"
The red ink would gush less heavily under former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney, the report said — at least under earlier Romney proposals that paired $1.35 trillion in tax cuts with $1.2 trillion in spending reductions and would leave the debt rising on a trajectory that closely tracks current policies.
"

They talked about securing the boarder and the strain illegal migration causes to hosiptals, social services and education.

No, in line with the political content of the post and the results of last nights debate AND the point that Romney would be the least likely of the 3 to increase the debt as dramatically and at the pace it has been the last few years.

Please tell me you knew that and your just teasing me.

It didn't read like something you would support but, I had to check;-)

Rmoney would be my second choice. At least, he supports a line item veto and a Balanced Budget Amendment.

i plan to support Romney if he is nominated.

although i think that Obama is making a little headway with the economy, it is clear to me that the legislature has no intention of working with him to improve the lot of the bulk of the citizens. they would be perfectly content to continue as they have for the past 3 years.

i think they will work with Romney. i sure hope i'm right.-Paul

I would love to share a theory I have with you guys.
Probably bordeline conspiracy theory.

It is a conversation I think we could only have in person.

But I beleive in my heart of hearts, this was a setup from the get-go!!!

It sure looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck a lot of the time. The rest of the time it's gobbling down our corn. I think most races are fixed anymore. When Hilliary bowed out and backed Obama that was pretty plain I'd say.

Don't forget that Obama had a substantial lead over Hillary in all the major polls. She saw the handwriting on the wall and decided she would take what she could get. So, the American people got a pisspoor Sec Of State.

Hillary is a better Sec. of State than Obama is a President. Unfortunately, that's not saying much.

The Romney/Paul ticket will be Rand Paul; not his squirrely dad. Rand fits the mold....a southerner to offset the yankee, new, young, vibrant ideas, hasn't been beat down or co-opted yet by the inside the Beltway crowd. And it basically buys off Ron Paul. Better to have him inside the tent pissing out than outside the tent pissing in.

I think the ball has already started rolling towards the above scenario during this past week....Ron Paul saying nice things about Romney and Rand Paul saying he'd consider the VP.

So...Rue Paul is finally admitting he has a snowballs chance of winning anything on his own. Must of ran out of pot...

The media has spoken. It is as clear to me as it was clear that the media chose McCain to be defeated by Obama.

Its so clear to me that I would vote for Obama over Romney. ,,Just for the shear fact we have seen the limits of Obama's distruction. Who know's what Romney would do. His arrogance rivals Obama's.

I don't think you have seen anything yet. Unencumbered by re-election, there is no telling what Obama would try. Get a grip man.

I have a grip. I find it interesting that people have diffeiculty in recognizing that they are the same product with a different label.

Commy,socialist,eletist,globalist,ect.ect. will take someone to the same destination and the scenery is pretty much the same.

Yea I know,,, I would put a gun to my head first before I would really vote for Obama. However if it were between Romney and he,,,,and all kidding aside,,,,I would not bother voting. And most conservatives standing next to me look like Obama.
If you look up blood red in the dictionary ,,,well thats my picture right there buddy:). You really don't think the state of massachuessettes would vote in an actual conservative ,do you?
