Why do you think Santorum did so well? It wasn't even close.

hope he is alright, last I heard he and the 6 other Ron voters were going out for beers. Whooping it up over how poorly Perry did!

I did my part and voted.

I'm not surprised by the outcome. Most of La. above I-10 is Evangelical so, same results as Ms and Al. Santorum picks up a portion of 20 delegates, Romney the rest and the other 28 will be awarded in late April in a Caucus. Why else would Republicans vote for a big spending, big government Liberal candidate like Santorum other than religion?

The higher incomed parts of the state went for Romney where the economy is the most important issue. Same in Alabama where Birmingham went for Romney and the rest of the state which is rural, went for Santorum. The New Orleans' newspaper ddn't even cover the results on the front page!

With Obama vs Romney a given in November, looks like it is time for me to go out and buy silver because it won't be long before the only thing the dollar will be good for is to wipe one's butt.
