We have dropped most of our subscriptions over the last few years. We still take the "Reader's Digest". I tend to read stuff on the net but a lot of it is links from different forums ( like this one ). Some is from e-mails from family and friends who send links to things. And we take the local daily newspaper
( it is actually 6 days a week not 7 ). We watch various news shows but I am
not happy with most of them. I guess you could say I have chosen to ignore a lot of what goes on anymore. I listen to some elected people of course till I find out they are rats then I tend to just listen with half my attention. I read here because we have some very smart cookies posting ( better than a lot of the news people etc. ). National news on the net is what I check out first each day.

How can so many that use guns to hunt with and train with, not be members of NRA? If you are, do you not get any of their publications? I get American Hunter...my grandson gets American Rifleman.
I also get the HRC mag and Retriever Journal.
I used to be a member of DU, Delta, and PF...but when they started giving some of my dues to the global warming crowd, I wrote them of my displeasure on that, and stopped my memberships.
I get several letters on economics and investing, as well as health and supplements.
I'm a member of Heritage Foundation, and Hillsdale college.
One other mag I enjoy is Newsmax. Lots of short articles that work well in the primary reading room.
