Greetings,
The Club is hosting an AKC Hunting Test this weekend. The Master event begins at 8am Friday. Workers need to be on site by 7am. Additional events begin later on Friday and also on Saturday.
FRIDAY serving from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Spangler's--there is a BBQ dinner (pork ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, sweet corn, baked beans, and lots of other good stuff) for workers, handlers and landowners. Club members bring a dish/dessert to pass. BYOB for everyone. THANK YOU TO HANDLER SYLVIA WOLTERS AND HER HUSBAND FOR DONATING THEIR TIME TO PREPARE AND SERVE THE MEAL!! Their generosity makes this social event possible so please THANK THEM when you go through the line.
Lunch and cool beverages will be provided for workers each day. Wear dark/camo clothing (NO WHITE). Bring sunscreeen, your chair, bug spray, vanilla spray for gnats, umbrella to shield the sun, etc.
CLUB MEMBERS--The Club needs your assistance to make this event a success. Please plan on coming to work for at least part of a day. Remember that, to remain a member in good standing, you must meet the work requirements.
Please bring with a lawn chair, sunscreen, bug spray, rain gear, and remember to wear dark-colored or
camo clothing. This event will happen rain or shine. We hope to be done Saturday evening, but will use Sunday if any events need to carry over.
