the worst part of the entire video is that he thinks he won. he thinks that what he was doing was right and will continue to do it.

we, as a nation, are killing ourselves from within.

He thinks he's something special, and that women and tax payers should pay his way. How sad! And, it looked like the woman involved was not much better.

Well hell all the time I spent working in college to pay tuition and rent.... turns out I wasted my time I could have gotten it for free. I think my guidance counselor missed that memo.

What the hell is wrong with the people in this country. As a young adult of this country I am ashamed these are my peers.

He was so disrespectful to the woman, denigrating her value as an individual human being.

She obviously had trouble paying the rent during that time. Did they ever speak to each other? Did she not tell him that she was unable to pay the rent? He didn't mention spending that $437 for anything but his own recreation; not helping out with food or utility costs.

Wonder if he realized that "paying his rent" with "the relationship" was equivalent to being an "escort"? Pretty cheap date ... I'd be surprised if truly high class "escorts" wouldn't get more than $437 for just one night :-)

Judge Judy is hilarious. I can't believe some of the people that go on her show. they must search out the most absurd cases and interview them before they put the show on the air.

Personally, I think her decision was wrong in this case. She should have made him pay the landlord. This is why payments that are earmarked for a specific purpose should go directly to the vendor, landlord, etc. When we pay for someone to go to college, we should also make sure that they are in a program that is likely to make them productive contributors to society. We certainly don't need another out of work guitarist.

Right on the money. Same can be said for child support payments. Put the money in an account, bring receipts to the child support office, get reimbursed for the purchases for the kids. whatever is left over stays in the account until the kids are 18 and the kid gets the unspent money to pay for college or tech school. I have seen too many kids wearing goodwill clothes while mom is wearing designer clothes and out partying on the money that is supposed to be used for the kids.

Now theres something I can agree with. I knew there was common ground somewhere.

I am shocked that the "secular progressives" have not rushed to their voting brethern's rescue.

This man is 1 of the 47% you so admire.
He is clearly the victim of large corporation and Republican greed!!!!

I am willing to bet he didn't vote for Romney.

and I disagree...... the vid, I feel has nothing to due  with the hue of Stan, Judge Jude or the two in front of her. As I know one or two fish belly white couples who could have easly stood in there stead. And one or two black guys we could exchange for Stan. The republican Randy Brock who just ran for and lost the governor of vermont job. who railed against such government waste happened to be black. this is not about race at all unless you are the color of money.

Such a smart well educated man, such poor reading comprehension.

Is that what I said Buzz?
Really, is that what you read??

Or did I say ;

He is your party comrade.....he is on your side!!

BTW--Romney NEVER said he "didn't care" about the 47%, he stated that he knew he couldn't get their votes.
Again, one so learned and well read as yourself surely knows this.
But hey, those talking points on the Daily Koz are powerful!!!!;-)

Ken, My post is a mock of the whole Angry White Man thing, not Stan. I'm sure Stan knows that because he knows me. ( http://www.retrievertraining.net/forums/showthread.php?91005-Angry-White-Men ) You are absolutely right with your post. It has nothing to do with the hue.

No, I doubt that he voted. I cite Ron White, "you can't fix stupid."

However, without searching it out, I would bet there are more "Free" cell phones distributed among the operatives of the two major political party's, not to mention Federal and State goverments of both persuasions, county and local governments, police, social services, etc. Drive home cars as well.
Let's not overlook private industry either. Many middle and lower level managers are afforded these perks as well. Who pays for them? Well, we all do. The abuses are rampant.
What would be Julie's advise to correct these abuses?
We now see former military officials being hauled over the coals for using "Official" emails for personal use. I know that within my company I would not be able to do that, and I would be advised by IT to STOP.
I'm circumspect in my communications even on my "private" phone and computer.
As vast as the internet might seem to be it is very open. JD

Agreed, you can't fix stupid. But you can certainly offer it free sh!t to get it to vote.

If a business deems it's cost effective to provide its employees with company cell phones, laptops, cars or whatever, then I really don't think it's mine or the gubmint's bidness to interfere with that. As for abuses of those things (and more) by civil servants, be they local, state, or federal--it's simply more fraud, graft and waste that if fixed would save the gubmint (and taxpayer) more than anything that ninny in office has suggested so far.
