Does anyone else think that this is just the start of things to come and might be a result of our election results

Guessing Netanyahu and Ehmud Barak arent going to wait for Barack to do anything

I do think you are correct. They are not happy with the POTUS. I don't feel they have any reason to wait for the POTUS to decide anything. They are on their own and know it. Iran is next.

My opinion

I'd say that's a good guess. Why wait around and get your own people killed? Hell, Obama is willing to let the terrorist's kill our people and not do anything... You know he doesn't care about the Israeli's

More paranoia from the far righties? That's what happens when your only source for news is Fox!

Here is what the Israeli Defense Minister has to say.

(CNN) – Israel's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Ehud Barak said the Obama White House has been the most supportive administration throughout the two countries' diplomatic relations on matters of Israeli security, in an interview to air Monday on "The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer."
Barak -also a former prime minister of Israel - said that though historically administrations from both political parties have supported the Jewish state President Obama's support, security-wise, is unparalleled.

I didn't vote for Obama and neither did you but, I'll be damned if I will post complete and utter BS!

You have some nerve saying that. Just because I don't agree with you and never will. Most of what you post is utter BS. If you knew me personally you would not question my patriotism. If you don't like what I post put me on ignore.... You know how to do it. Or are you too stoned to find to button?

PS... Like I said before... You did vote for Obama, by not voting for Romney... You can deny it all you want... Even though you are in a red state just like me, you still supported a socialist.

Since when? Your constant Ron Paul, Libertarian, LSU, SEC statements of "fact" when it's only your slanted opinion is indeed BS in the highest degree.

Accusing someone of being unpatriotic is uncalled for and warrants an apology which if it were me, I wouldn't accept.

That is incredibly amusing. Not the URL...not the CNN story... but you once again showing us your inability to recognize the difference between "news", and ass-kissing.

Oh I get it, if the story is something you don't like then it is ass kissing. If it is a story that you agree with, then it is News.

Not surprising as you have admitted recently here on RTF that you were not interested in the truth.

Maybe not such a farfetched comparison. I grew up in and still have family in Brownsville, Tx. The neighborhood in which we lived was easily within the range of a high-powered rifle from Mexico (about a mile from the river as the spent round flies). About three years ago we were down there and they had to shut down the college campus because bullets from a gunfight in Matamoros were striking buildings and cars on campus. About a month ago I was down there again and could hear gunfire in Matamoros. At least this was all just them shooting at each other, nothing aimed at folks on this side. Can only imagine what it would be like if they were firing motor shells or RPG.

What we would do? Well border agents backed up by dept. of homeland security would be on that missile the second it hit the ground. Because instead of a nuclear payload it had 75 fellers that wanted to pick apples. “We” would then provide them with drivers’ licensees, health care, and a free telephone. Then transport them to a sanctuary city they choose.

And I will make you a great nation (Isreal), And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing; And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed." (Genesis 12:2-3)

Doesn't really matter what I think.

Why not make Isreal the 51st state? We send major tax money there and we have vowed to defend it as jealously as our own territory. Let's annex the place.

It's more like anti American. The left is so concerned about how much tax money is sent to a friendly nation like Israel, but seldom complains about the billions being sent to the muslims.

And, of course, a lefty like Sarge pays so much income tax, he should have a say in where it should be spent.

Ditto ! Have wondered about all this plus skin headed natzi types for years. Then the oldest "kid" started shaving his head ( 50 plus ), vbg. He says it's better that way because he hasn't got enough hair on top to justify paying the barber for a haircut. :-) :-) :-)

Headlines in the NY Times this AM:

An Outgunned Hamas Tries to Tap Islamists' Growing Clout
By DAVID D. KIRKPATRICK and MAYY EL SHEIKH
As Israel and Hamas met separately with Egyptian officials for indirect talks about a truce in the ongoing Gaza fight, Hamas seemed to be trying to exert its sway over ideological allies in Egypt's government.
How does this read: Hamas dumps rockets on Israel. (Some speculate that they have acquired longer-range rockets from Iran.) Israel responds. Hamas then squeals about how unfair that is, and looks to its big brothers to help them out.

Then the next headline:

Brigades That Fire on Israel Are Showing a New Discipline
By JODI RUDOREN
As many as 15,000 Qassam fighters are responsible for most of the rocket blitzes that have blanketed southern Israel in recent days, experts say.

Then the next headline:

This does seem to be a bit on target to me. Hamas is firing unguided missiles sort of will-nilly into Israel. Seems like a relatively ineffective attempt to replicate the London Blitz, attempting to kill anyone in Israel unfortunate enough to be in range with regard to religious belief or value to the regime. Israel responds by using targeted strikes in an attempt to kill the leaders of Hamas, there are some collateral casualties, and Israel is the villain. Personally, I think Israel is showing quite a bit of restraint. (so far)

This shows that Isreal is fully capable of taking care of themselves. That is what I want and I speak for most americans on this subject. It is their problem and they need to solve it. We have our own and sooner we stop worring about others and focus on our on, the better off we will be.

And to imply that the election results had something to do with this is just stupid

Menmon, I actually agree with you. Except I do think the election does have some impact on the situation. I live in an area of the country where folks blindly support the state of Israel, but have no reason other than "my pastor told me to". Lots of folks don't realize how many innocent folks have been persecuted by Israel, both Muslim and Christian. I say let Israel take care of itself and only get involved if our national security is at risk and congress approves it.

The is the Libertarian Party's stance on this issue! However, the far-righties are controlled by paranoia and the Military Industrial Complex has them believing we should be the police of the world. Some here on POTUS have even suggested that we go to war with Iran! Isreal is more than capable of taking care of themselves. We need to stop telling them what to do, sell them the arms that they need and stay the hell out!

It has nothing to do with being anti- Semetic or anti-Christian or hating Israel. The Israelis, the Palestinians, and the Brits all created this mess. Let them figure it out or battle it out. No good is going to come of it, if we keep sticking our nose in it.
