today 7.7% ???

BUT, fine print.....
350,000 less workers of the total work force
so it is kinda the same number unemployed and the total number is less even though people join that number every day because of the people who have totaly stopped looking for work. So the gov number guys took um off of the list. ?????

I find it hard to believe with the magnitude of hurricane Sandy that the number went down....guess all those people that couldnt get to work, lost businesses, lost homes and virtually brought the east coast to a standstill all must have used PTO and didnt have to file for unemployment...guess the numbers can be whatever they want it to be

I saw it was 540k that left te workforce. When you give up is when the rate goes down because you have decided to stop looking for work. I find it odd because the seasonal jobs usually help the unemployment numbers.
