Has there been any follow up to this story? I don't watch tv, so if its not on the front page of the NY Times or my other internet news, I don't get it. I am surprised there is not a huge response via facebook or other social media. Just happened to be glancing through here this morning and saw it. Shame if its true!!!!

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Twenty-seven-year-old former Marine Jon Hammar of Palmetto Bay will be released Friday from a Mexican prison, according to U.S. Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen.
