Tim - I have contacted our local Agway (seedway dealer ) and have talked to them a couple of times since. They expect to have info for me mid April. This is busiest time of year for Seedway. Saw Montler took 2nd in Springer trial.
Paul I haven't followed up since my initial inquires about seeding mixtures. We've been so busy doing land clearing, cutting and burning brush and trying to schedule machine work for good weather that I haven't had time to look into the seed mixtures. It's only my wife and I doing the work on weekends so it doesn't go as fast as we'd like. We're trying to do as much of the clearing as we can ourselves to cut down on expenses once our contractor gets here which will be as soon as the ground conditions are acceptable. Could be April, could be August we'll just have to see what the weather has in store. Tim
Have you had any success in determining a suitable seeding mixture? Paul Brown suburban@epix.net
Paul, thanks for the tip on Brian. Hopefully I'll get invited to train again down at Bob's once it warms up a little. I'd like to talk to him in person vs. over the phone. My email is tsfenstermacher@gmail.com Tim
Sorry for the cryptic message. Brian Parsons is a good friend of Bob Montler My actual email is suburban@epix.net Paul Brown

Season has been great so far we’ve shot a boat load of pheasants and a few ducks. Deer season not so good I pasted up a five point the first day and a six point the second even passed up about a 400 lb. bear I shot a bear three years ago and last year I don’t need another bear for a while. Haven’t seen a legal buck since that’s the way it goes I have some really nice bucks on trail cam just not showing up. This weekend were either duck or pheasant hunting next weekend their stocking hens in Elmsport’s game lands so were headed there? Then the following weekend heading back to cabin for muzzle loading season. Lots of hunt but as usual not a lot of training. How are you doing see any big bucks? How did you make out with double T and where are you now with your pup?
They definitely look and sound like they would do the trick. Thanks.
