very despicable what bickering is being spread by the McCain staffers, without Palin on the ticket Mac loses by double digits....McCain needs to step up and do the right thing by his running mate, be a man Johnny Mac, after all you picked her....
actually it probably was not McCain's choice, it was probably those same staffers that talked him into picking her.
I do agree that the bickering / anon reports appear very petty.
However, most of the postmortums on the McCain campaign indicate her selection was a major issue. He got a boost at first but later I feel she was a big hinderance. Her selection pretty much invalidated his arguement that Obama lacked experience.

My guess why McCain picked her was to appease the right wing of his party or to pull in some of the Hillery supporters, or both. Her abuse of power as governor of Alaska in trying to get her sex-brother-in-law fired from his state patrol post, said to me she is petty, unscrupulus and vindictive.
I held my nose voting for McCain. The only positive was voting for Palin.Quote:
