Obama Backs Away From Assault Gun Ban ?!?

Can this really be true?
Is this really "a change we can believe in" ?
If so, that he preferred to focus on enforcing existing laws to keep assault weapons out of Mexico, rather than trying to renew the U.S. ban on the weapons then this a HUGE step that all 2nd Amendment defenders should mark o their calenders & in their journals.
To be sure, we can not afford to let down our guard against this man and his ever changing policies, but when even the Mexican president realizes what a volatile step that could have been "We know that it is a politically delicate topic because Americans truly cherish their constitutional rights," Calderon said. I can't help but have additional hope.
I truly hope that Sarah Brady and the rest gun control advocates that voted for Obama are apoplectic right now.
On the same subject, I recently received a letter from my Congressman, Walt Minncik (D) 1st Dist - ID that he joined with 65 other representatives in sending a letter to AG Holder urging him to abandon this "ban plan".
Bravo to all involved!
