Read the comments at the end of this article. I feel so much better that the Obama administration is improving our image and standing in the world community. But it really doesn't matter. Why do we care about Canadians, Brits, French and Germans when we have Venezuelan, Brazilian, Saudi and Cuban butts to kiss?

This new "image" didn't do sh*t at the recent G-20 meeting or NATO summit. What a joke.
Other countries are laughing at us. We arent gaining any respect by his actions.
Worse yet we are losing respect. We saved much of Europe in 2 World Wars and the Cold War and they still give us no respect. I think we need to go back to the pre WWII isolationism and put America first. The hell with most of the world, excepting our real frinds in places like the UK , Israel and a few others.
First Id pull us out of NATO...we are NATO anyways, tell the W. Continental Europeans to start funding their own defense. Lets see how well they do with their socialist programs when they have to start putting more of their GDP to the military. Then Id do another round of BRAC and close every base we have in W. Europe and move them to Poland and Hungary, to countries that really will work with us. Countries that have felt the heavy boot of totalitarianism and appreciate freedom.Quote:
