Imagine that, Harry Reid lied to one of his compadres:rolleyes:
It is truly amateur hour in DC.

Well, it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!
I guess he forgot that even Benedict Arnold eventually lost favor in London.
I can hear it now......
Before switching: Arlen, come be a part of the Democratic leadership who will help make this country great!
After switching: Arlen, go get us some coffee, NOW!
I doubt the kool-ade drinkers will even look up from their glass and notice, but if these arrogant dirt bags won't even take care of their own, their frat brother for 29 years, how can anyone possibly think that they're looking out for the "little guy", the American people? I mean, it's not like the guy got caught with his hand (or other anatomy) in the cookie jar? Thousands of $'s in cash weren't found in his freezer. (yet). Or one of the myriad of other scandals that Congress has been caught in. Specter just wanted to play on the (currently) winning team. And now, he's demoted to bench warmer after being a 'player' for oh so long!
Between people of honor, a verbal agreement, even w/o a handshake, is a binding contract, as is an oath of office/allegiance/enlistment. Is it not yet patently obvious that the rule of law means NOTHING anymore to these "people"?
C'mon, one of you Democratic folks here has got to be able to step up and defend this, right?
He's nothing but a houseboy now.
