Just as dopey....Kennedy wants Massachusetts to change law to allow an interim election for his replacement after a few years back twisting their arm to do away with interim elections for then presidential candidate John Kerry.

No, what he wants is to have an seat warmer appointed by the Gov for the 5 month period between his death or resignation and the special election. At least that's how I understood what I heard on the news last night. Things must be looking bleak for him.

Kennedy just had the law changed in 04 in case Kerry won the White House, now he wants it changed back?
Teddy want's to keep the dems holding a majority so the dems hold the number of votes to push Obama's plans into law.
At least until the 2010 mid-terms....;-)
