by appointing Czars he evades Congressional oversight...they answer to one person only ..BHO..it basically makes the cabinet positions nothing but figure heads

For the time being, it seems we have an Exec. and Leg. government, popularly elected that seems to reflect the majority view. Why can't some of you get over this? The pendulum will certainly swing the other way, as it always does.
Is BO my messiah? Of course not. Was GB yours? I doubt it. Do we have a perfect system of government? Yes! Because it allows for freedom of choice, and swings back and forth to reflect individual conscience at any given moment in time.
I still have faith in the American experiment, and believe that this is a good country, peopled by good intentions, whether or not I, or you agree at any particular juncture in that experiment.
Is our country changing and evolving? Yes! Visit your local Wal-mart, if you doubt.
You can lament the changes. Or you can adapt to them.
These changes have been brought about by all of us, Dem, Repub, Con and Lib alike. It's just the way things are. You can choose to be angry and resentful, but it ain't gonna change the way things are.

I'm curious what your thoughts are regarding selective firing of US Attorneys and recess appointments of judges and executive appointees in order to stack the judicial system and a few others? And just to make it interesting, lets pretend Obama is the one who did it. Those tacticts also seem to fall in line with rising totalitarian regeims within democracies.Quote:

Bush fired 7 that he had appointed in his first term. What is the big deal. They did not like their performance so they were fired.
