On which station will it be televised and what time? I would like to record it and watch it later after I get off work so I can make my own assessment of what the speech was all about just so Obama doesn't slip in some mind controlling sublimital messages in there.

Seriously, I dislike Obama as much as anybody, but there is really nothing in that text to take offense to. Sure, something may have been deleted, but we'll never know. Those that want to believe that something was taken out will, and those that don't want to believe won't. He really should have kept it a little shorter though. Somebody didn't think about the attention span of his audience.

You know, in and of itself...the contents of the speech are admirable.
It was just the way it was presented and the accompanying class "material" that put off so many folks.
I daresay that no matter the party of the administration that attempted the same action would have met with disapproval.
Parents have a right to voice their opinions on the subject material presented to their kids and how it's presented.
Because of all the previous heavy-handedness from the current congress and administration has left people very jumpy and nervous as to the motives behind everything coming out of Washington, these days.
In cooking parlance, their presentation rates an "F".
