Having a memorial to a man who put it all on the line for this republic's existence and helped epitomize "sacred honor" in the background, would have totally distracted from the message/image this group was trying to purvey. :rolleyes:

Read a little about Ben Franklin's reputation, and you'll see what the joke was in reference to.

And when I'm joking, I don't expect to be taken seriously. And most of what I say here is joking. The fun part is when people don't realize that and get a bee in their bonnet over nothing.

My post #9 was not joking, when I said covering up George was STUPID.
