Egypt's Mubarak to step down

CAIRO — Egypt's President Hosni Mubarakhttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/2_11pxw.gif is to step down after 17 days of pro-democracy protests, two sources told NBC News on Thursday.
Following an all-day meeting of the country's supreme military council, the army said all the protesters' demands would be met and a further statement was expected to be made later Thursday, clarifying the situation.
Mubarak was expected to formally announce his departure in an address to the nation tonight.

Well seeing as how this is a POTUS forum I am not sure I was allowed to post this on here. From what I gather from RK "the monitor" the only posts on this forum should be about bashing Obama and the Democrats.:rolleyes:

If he goes anywhere by then... If he can survive the current situation, he may put the clamps down on the opposition and hang around a while...

Comes out and flips the proverbial bird at the protesters.

A blatant attempt to incite the crowds to explode with violence so they have an excuse to come out with the military and mow down the protesters?
