Happy Fat Tuesday to you!
Of all days to get the much needed rain. It won't stop Mardi Gras celebrations but one will see more camo grain gear today than costumes.
The areas around New Orleans celebrate MG is a family way. Not much drinking nor skantley clad women. For that, one has to go the French Quarter in New Olreans, which I've indulged in numerous times. But, with a still "frozen shoulder", I think I might spend the day off watching the NFL and Military Channels and cook a goose & sausage gumbo;-)

Went to our local Wal-Mart and asked where the King Cakes were. Never heard of them.
WTF??? :(:-x:-x
(going to walmart for a king cake is sad in itself...)
You can get a King Cake on-line from Randazzos or Classic Golden Pecan and many others.
Shipping King Cakes is a big buisness, just ask any of the local bakers.
I like the cream cheese variety, si bon(it is good).
