Although I run this drill I have purposely not run it consecutive days as I thought it would promote popping on a point or dike.
Is this not the case?
Looks like I need to renew my subscription.

Properly designed and properly handled, Tune-up drills promote confidence, momentum, good decison making and comprehension of difficult concepts. If you look at Glen's diagram or the one I had in the summer issue of RO you will see that there is no pattern for the dog to anticipate and thus pop. If you just had one point and you repeatedly stopped them there and cast off, some dogs might develop an anticipation pop.
It's very difficult to find ideal locations for this Tune-up and then design it well. When people say they have been running this drill, perhaps it is the much simpler "cast into the water" drill. Frankly, I have never seen anybody do a Casting Tune-up Drill before. Tune-ups usually employ 5-7 challenging "go-straight" lines run from different starts to emphasize a concept(s). The exact same set is repeated over a period of 3-5 days.
Gotcha...
Thank you Sir.
Will be calling soon to renew.
