What supplies required
I searched and couldn't find a "must have supplies topics" for the rookies. So, we are about to start on FTP and move forward from there. I am not looking to train my 11month Chocolate male to be a jam up duck dog and maybe put a seasoned title on him. So, my question is what all training supplies are required from this point. I have e collar, prong collar, lead, leash, kennel, 14/15 dummies (8 white, 4 orange, and 4 black and white). I am really looking at do I need a starter pistol, dummy launcher, any more leads, etc. Thanks for you help!

Join a local club and train with some that have been at this a long time and go from there.

You will never have everything you need. As you progress, you will realize you must have more and more stuff until finally your credit cards are maxed out.
One thing you do not have on your list is training materials, if you are doing this yourself you must have a training program.
You will soon need more orange dummies for TT. At least 8 total. You will also need a long lead/rope. Finding the right rope is a lot of trial and error.
If you are going to do tests or trials, you might want a holding blind so your dog can practice waiting in one, and going to the line from one.
If you train with a group you will need a starter pistol, chair, hearing protection and radio.
The list is endless...just buy as you go is my advice.

Dummy launcher? Is that an alternative to having a zinger, etc?
Especially since I train by myself?
I am going to join Old South I think. I also may go train with Marcus Brice next week one afternoon.
We started fetch no fetch today and he is doing great.
