I have been an Amatuer for 11 years. In the 11 years I have trained 3 male labs with only one all age dog who has Jamed, finished 4th in an Am and Jamed an Open, Shooter is now 9 years old. This past year I decided it was time to get a new pup and decided to buy a pup from Watermark Retrievers - a Pike & Lauri litter. Being 11 years older and still working I decided to put my pup Rowdy with Greg Lister. I knew Greg had success over the years winning Blue with Derby dogs and putting titles on all age dogs.
This past weekend Greg won Blue with Rowdy at the Missouri River Trial. So far Greg has handled Rowdy to 9 points in 5 Derbys.
I would like every one to know what a great teacher Greg has been to Rowdy and myself. Training professionally for 40 years Greg has put together a technique all his own when it comes to training retrievers. He also had some great teachers Tommy Sorenson of Missouri being one of them His standards are high with your dog progressing only when he believes your dog has mastered his last lesson. If your looking for a young dog trainer or an all age trainer you will be very happy with Greg. He does have openings. Thank you Greg for all your work and dedication in training my boy Rowdy.
