Well, what do you know we agree on something, except I would take him over Bradshaw seven days a week! It has become a passing league per rules changes and if a QB can't tear up a D, they have no future in the league.Quote:

No, SP would never have it that way. Like I mentioned, they have been playing a lot of catch up this season. Losing Carl Nicks at Guard was a huge loss as they had the best Guard run blocking tandum. Many don't recognizes just how much the Saints run the ball because they run by committee. Pierre Thomas is an unsung hero in my book and the team would have never won a SB without him.Quote:

You talk about Bradshaw being a poor player.
He had Lynn Swann and Jon Stallworth along with FRANCO Harris, Frenchy Fuqua and Rocky Blier.
That was a hell of a football tesam.
Ham & Lambert (HOF's) both claim Russell was better than either one of them.
Donnie Shell was such a great ST's player they made a spot in the Pro-Bowl for him.

Never said Bradshaw as not good but that he had a such a strong D at his back. If fact, it was Al Davis that told the Steelers owner to dump Terry Hanraity for Bradshaw. A suggestion he regretted all his life because they beat the Raiders in several Champ games under Bradshaw!
