A front came in overnight so we made plans for 0:dark-thirty, woke up to two inches of snow so we launched. Turned out this was a Pacific front, not a Canadian cold front, so not a huge group of birds like we had last week. We stayed out till about noon and Neil shot one drake Cinnimon Teal to give Gus a retrieve before we gave up for the day. November is usually when the Northern birds start arriving.

Ps) Just kidding about the Cinnimon, it was a Green Wing (inside joke- Kathy Bait is dying to see a mature drake Cinnimon Teal in hand).
