I will be driving through Conroe from duck hunting down on the prairie next weekend and would like to stop off and watch the first series of the NRC. Will I be able to do this or is it only for owners and handlers?

Anyone can go and watch....enjoy!
Great, thanks for the reply.
Have fun! Bring a camera and post a couple of pix.
As Howard said, but you have to show us your ducks too! :)
Where is this taking place? As in the actual location.
Michael Kammerer's place in and around Montgomery Texas
there was a bit of a flareup when some photographers were taking pics at the event and were told that they were facing expulsion from the grounds because, they were not authorized by the NRC which oversees the event..
IMO this was a grey area, one of the photographers is a member here on the RTF and took some fabulous pictures, which were welcomed and had no intent on trying to profit from them
If this sport wants to survive this archaic thinking needs to be eliminated, as long as the pictures being taken are for personal use, or artistic interpretation I see no harm in promoting the sport and all its pageantry, after all its one of the two "majors" in the US FT world...I understand that the national clubs own the event and the images at that event, but seeing picture after picture of those in the gallery, many of who the general public does not know, does absolutely nothing for the sport...We want to see the real stars of the sport..the DOGS in action
