I thought about this thread when I came across this article researching some company stock information today.
This is another example of unions going in the wrong direction. At what point does a Union do the right thing and admit the union member is a crook and not worth spending union dues to support.
“This doesn’t sit well with me. It doesn’t sit well with our members,” Kennedy told the station. “But what does sit well is that we advocated for rights in this contract, and advocated for the rights of every police officer. Not to grow marijuana. But to have your day in court.”
I feel the same... I have seen management "hang their hat" on the contract many times. This is an example of the employees doing just that and management got burned. Unfortunately, common sense goes out the window on both sides when unions get involved.
