Big Wrecker with large boom. Wrecker stays in one place. Boom extends out as dump truck moves forward.
It's sad this happend but no one was hurt so far no equipment has been damaged. This is how we all learn.
Good luck

Backhoe will do some pretty amazing things and is small enough to unload the 12-15 tons of dirt in the dump truck before you move it. Once you reduce the weight (and lower the center of gravity) then packing the wheels makes it really easy to get the truck out. Back because we know the ground supported the truck the first time, Forward and it might damage culvert and or cave in and tip over. Kinda like being in a minefield ya know you were safe the way you came in you don't know if you are safe ahead of you though.;)
Don't believe the florist when he tells you the roses are free.
Big wrecker arrived at eight am. He extended his boom over the low end of the dump be. Chained to dump bed and lift the truck and slowly pulled it back. Worked like a charm. Culvert was fine. Just need to repack clay around culvert.
Will post picture when I have computer access not phone.
