Great article on healthcare and how it should be run. Too bad there wasn't a candidate who we could nominate that had the same philosophy,...oh wait we did, Dr. Ron Paul. But he was a crazy old man who made too much sense.

Here's another new development in the UK's health care system.
It's striking how the govt interference runs up the costs for commonplace procedures. We'd still need a hospital environment for more complex procedures. Those procedures would undoubtedly be even more expensive due to moving the simpler procedures to different kinds of facilities.Quote:

Is all encompassing HC necessary? There was a time when one was responsible for their life decisions. When we were young a family paid for their own care when adding a baby to the family. Government run healthcare has driven the cost - a healthcare organization with 18 administrators being compensated over $413K/year in salary alone. Does anyone feel that is out of line?
