Interesting Rumor About Speaker of the House

There may be a change in the offing.

The Republicans may dismiss Boehner and make Rep. Paul Ryan Speaker of the House.

Just a rumor I heard over Christmas at some shindig we were at...............

Boehner has proven incredibly ineffective.

Ryan as Speaker? Could that be Obama's worst nightmare?

I think it would be great. I have never cared for Boehner.

I like hearing the rumors. :-) Some give me reason for hope.

while they are at it let's replace Sen Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, many of the old guard needs to go to an early retirement

The political history of speakers is not very conducive to that being a post Ryan S/B interested in attaining, IMO.
