Thanks, I knew it was good for humans. Saw a report once that it reverses the signs of Allzimers (can't spell). I have been cooking with it for a while now but now the dog will get some.
Coconut water is good for the kidney on humans. It helps clean it up. I live in PR and have plenty of it. Down here you can find coconut in all kinds of forms, oil, candy, custard or you can just drink the juice/water. Some people prefer to spice it up with their favorite liquor.
One month ago I started adding a tablespoon a day of Coconut Oil to both of my dogs morning meal. I am amazed at the physical changes that have occurred: super soft coat, they honestly don't smell at all, no bad breath, AND they both quit shedding!!! I use to sweep tons of hair everyday...not anymore! I know it is winter but they use to lose a normal amount even through the winter. Easy change with big benefits!

Have purchsed it in a grocery store (Royal River Natural Foods in Yarmouth, ME) in glass jar. Glass was recommended over plastic. Have not found it in glass for probably two years, so since ordering supplements from the above site anyway, included their coconut oil.
Cosco has it in big jars. Awesome stuff! They also have coconut chips.
Don't mean to burst anyone's bubble but coconut oil is one of the most highly saturated fats known to man. Anyone with high serum cholesterol needs to do a bit of research before slurping it down.
