Lulu's first big hunt.
Lulu just turned a year old 2 weeks ago and has plenty of training. So I figured she was ready for a real hunt. She was confused at first with all the decoys and didn't understand where the birds were coming from. So I ran the first ones as blinds and she took my cast nicely in the open water. By the end she was breaking and we were shooting cripples over her. She even chased down a couple cripples that were diving and dove after them to retrieve them.
This was early you can see she was a little unsure.

27 birds in cold water with some skim ice early morning. There was also a strong current and the wind really picked up.
Sometimes there were as many as 5 guns shooting over her.
I am proud of this little girl yo take on these conditions and never quit.
