First aid

What kind of first aid gear do you all carry with you or would recommended to have on hand for working dogs?

Thanks for the info Finn. I found it very useful. If anyone has anything to add please do so.

Not for use in the field but definitely helpful away from home...after a road trip where one of my dogs developed hot spots, I have electric clippers in my truck now.

A couple of people recommend keeping something like Coke on hand as well for fox tails up the nose (http://www.retrievertraining.net/for...-first-aid-kit). Also hydrogen peroxiode to induce vomiting. Udder Butter. Not sure if these were mentioned in the other threads.

I put my own kit together, thinking I would mostly be adding to the human first aid kit...but it was a lot of work tracking down some of the items and I think a lot bulkier. A lot of the things on Dr. Ed's list you have to get through a vet (at least around here).
