Hi everyone, I've been reading on here for quite some time and decided to join up a few months back but haven't ever gotten around to posting or introducing myself. So here it goes. I am from SW Minnesota and currently a 3rd year college student. Right now I have a 12 year old black lab female that is non-stop in the pheasant fields, but never got her into waterfowl, she still acts like she's 6, but I know its time fore her to start slowing down one of these years. I am expecting a new lab pup in March (litter is due in a couple weeks!) and want to start getting into the HT game and see how it goes. Also a big pheasant and waterfowl hunter. I haven't ever trained a dog other than basic obedience commands. I have been doing a ton of reading on this site and another forum and a few books. I decided I'm going to follow Hillmann's puppy video. I've contacted a HRC and a FT club and will be joining one for sure. Just want to let everyone know that this site is great and full of wonderful knowledge and advice. I spend a lot of time reading the new and old threads and can't get enough! Can't wait for my pup to arrive and I'm sure I'll have tons of questions once he arrives!
