Great week hunting.

I am finally taking a well needed break from hunting tomorrow to watch the ravens win the AFC. So I figured I will post some pictures from hunts of the last week.

My friend and I took our famlies to his shore home to hand out and let the kids come out and do a little hunting with us. We were only hunting about 50 yards behind the house so they could come and go as they pleased. I ran Thor and Gracie.
Friday evening we got down there late but we did manage 3 geese.

we went out for a morning hunt because we wanted to watch the ravens game. We got more 2 geese and I think we ended up with 7 ducks.

I had some clients come in he wanted to work his Chesapeake on some birds so we went for a nice diver hunt.
We shot our limit in black heads and 4 geese.

Back to diver hunting but we ran Thor and shot our limit of black heads and a scoter.

I had some North Carolina boys come up for some diver hunting.

We shot 4 more ducks today but I dint take any pictures.
But all in all it was a good time. Shot 90 birds and hunted over 5 different Chesapeakes and 3 are Master Hunters.

Nice photos. I haven't been broadbill hunting in quite a while. I might do some diver hunting this week.

Well done snook. I still cant believe you killed all those birds without face paint:D

JTowne...It looks like you have all the fun. Good job.

I'll be back at it again next week hunting Monday Wednesday Thursday and Saturday. I have to play fireman on Tuesday.

I am in the Long Island zone. Season closes Jan. 27. The cold snap this week should be good for gunning.

This might sound selfish But I hope you guys freeze out soon :).
We need some new birds. I didnt know you guys have Sunday waterfowl in LI.
