So Harley Davidson didn't have their bikes imported from Japan, they don't have Union plants and their PAC money doesn't go mostly to the Democratic party? Where did I make a mistake?

After WWII H-D built/helped retool the factories in Japan.

The union shops (as I posted) are being downsized and fazed out.
The new CEO forced concessions.
Factories in PA and northern WI had to give a lot.
Factories and plants here in MIlwaukee have been seriously downsized.
So the money is diminishing as the union jobs dissapear.

I don't know much about the KC plant.

There was secret stimulus money nobodey knew about except some blogs.

Do some research.....you are off the mark.

BTW---My beef is NOT and NEVER has been with shop unions, my beef is with PUBLIC EMPLOYE UNIONS.
I am not surprised you don't see the difference.

Stan I think HD is a great company and my next bike will probably be a Road King, with that said the company is what it is, I don't believe I took liberties with any facts (and I did say former Jap bike). In the contents on the OP I think it would be completely hypocritical for a person who would purchase from a company like Harley Davidson then boycott a company like Progressive that is all.

I really don't know who owns Progressive, I have heard Soros does.

I use All-State as they are a rather large client of mine.

Nice bike, I would love to see the back seat occupant. I no longer do rallies, riding wheel to wheel with bankers who get on their bikes once a year doesn't do it for me. About the only time I cross the WI state line is to go salmon fishing in Algoma, if you could recommend a charter that's better than Kinn's let me know.
